Why one-to-one suits maths especially well
Maths is cumulative: a gap in fractions in class 7 quietly becomes a struggle with algebra in class 9. In a classroom of thirty, a confused student rarely says so out loud, and the class moves on regardless. In a one-to-one lesson the teacher sees exactly where the confusion starts and stays there until it is actually resolved, instead of moving on because the syllabus says it is time to.
What is covered, by class
Chapters are covered against your child's own school pace, with extra time spent wherever a chapter did not fully land the first time. Exact topics follow the syllabus your child's school is teaching that term.
Where our students are
Families in India (CBSE), the UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi), Qatar (Doha and across the country), and the United States, where classes follow the student's own grade level and school pace. Class times are set to suit whichever time zone you're in.
Common questions about maths tuition
Which classes and boards do you cover?
Classes 7, 8, 9 and 10, mainly CBSE. Students in the US are taught to their own grade level and pace. Other boards can usually be accommodated — mention it in your enquiry.
My child is weak in maths generally, not just one chapter. Can you help?
That's exactly what one-to-one is for. The free trial class is used to see where the real gaps are, often a class or two behind where the syllabus assumes, and classes start from there rather than from the current chapter.
Is this exam-focused or concept-focused?
Both — concepts are taught properly first, because a student who understands a method can handle any question on it, not just the ones they've seen before. Exam technique and timed practice are added as board exams approach.
How is a session actually run?
Teacher and student share one whiteboard in the browser and work through problems together in real time, the same as sitting side by side at one desk. The whole lesson is saved, so it can be reopened for revision later.
