Tutrix Learn is a small one-to-one tutoring service run by Fathima K and Ruquiya K, teaching students in India, the UAE, Qatar and the United States. This page explains, in plain English, what information we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Who is responsible

Information we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, your child's name, class or grade, board, country, phone number, email if you give one, preferred class times and whatever you write in the message box.
- If your child becomes a student: an account with a name, email and password for the student, and separately for a parent. Lesson records, whiteboards, chat messages, homework, teacher notes and attendance are stored so you can look back at them.
- Technical information: the IP address that submitted an enquiry, kept to prevent spam and abuse, and a plain count of how many people visited the site each day. This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without following you across other websites and without building a profile of you. There are no advertising trackers and no cookies on this public page.
Why we hold it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a trial class.
- To teach the classes and keep a record of lessons, homework and progress that you and your child can see.
- To keep parents informed about their own child.
- To keep the service secure and working.
Children
Our students are typically between 12 and 16 years old. Enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian. A student account is created only after a parent has agreed to it. Parents can ask at any time to see, correct or delete everything held about their child.
Who else sees it
Your information is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers, and it is not passed to any other tutoring company. The only people who read it are Fathima K, Ruquiya K and, where a parent account is linked, the parent of that student. Two technical suppliers necessarily handle it in passing: Cloudflare, which delivers this site and protects it from attacks, and Apple's iCloud, where encrypted backups of lesson records are kept so that nothing is lost if a computer fails.
Where it is kept
Everything is stored on a computer controlled by Fathima K and Ruquiya K, not on a third-party marketing platform. Connections to the site and the classroom are encrypted. A nightly backup of lesson records is kept in Apple's iCloud so that lesson history survives a computer failure; it is not used for anything else.
Video and audio
Live classes use audio and video between the two participants only. Classes are not recorded. The shared whiteboard, chat messages and homework files are saved, because that is what makes revision possible, and they are visible only to the teacher, the student and the linked parent.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to classes: deleted within about a year, or sooner if you ask.
- Student records: kept while your child is learning with us and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that past lessons remain available to you. Deleted on request.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete your information, or stop contacting you. One message to [email protected] is enough, and there is no charge.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change and enrolled families will be told directly.
