Why a Chartered Accountant teaches this differently

Commerce students are usually taught accountancy by a general commerce tutor who knows the syllabus but has never actually prepared a set of accounts. Ruquiya has — she has practised as a Chartered Accountant, not just studied to become one. That means a question that goes slightly beyond the textbook, "why does this actually matter in a real business", still gets a straight, informed answer instead of a shrug.

What is covered, by class

Class 11 — theory base of accounting, recording of transactions, bank reconciliation, depreciation, bills of exchange, rectification of errors, financial statements of a sole proprietorship
Class 12 — accounting for partnership firms, admission, retirement and dissolution, accounting for companies, share and debenture issue, financial statement analysis, cash flow statement

Numericals and theory both get proper time — accountancy exams reward getting the format and working exactly right, not just the final number, and that is drilled deliberately, not left to chance.

Where our students are

Families in India (CBSE, ISC and other boards), the UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi), and Qatar (Doha and across the country). Class times are set to suit whichever time zone you're in, usually before or after the school day.

Common questions about accountancy tuition

Which classes and boards do you cover?

Class 11 and 12, across CBSE, ISC and other Indian boards. Mention your specific board in your enquiry if it differs.

Does my child need to be studying Commerce with Accountancy as a subject?

Yes, this tuition is for students already taking Accountancy as a school subject in class 11 or 12, whether or not the rest of their subjects are Commerce, Humanities or a mixed stream.

Is the focus on numericals or theory?

Both, in the proportion the board exam actually asks for. Accountancy papers mix conceptual questions with numerical problems, and marks are lost on format and workings as often as on the final figure, so both get deliberate practice.

How is a session actually run?

Teacher and student share one whiteboard in the browser and work through ledgers, statements and problems together in real time. The whole lesson is saved, so it can be reopened before an exam.
